Color Me Scrappy + Sketches In Thyme (#9 Challenge)

This month Color Me Scrappy has teamed up with Sketches in Thyme to bring you all double the challenge and double the fun!
sugared hues
Not only were we required to follow along with these gorgeous colors but we also had to follow along with this lovely sketch. The combination makes for a lot of fun! I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

This is what I came up with. As soon as I saw the colors - I knew I wanted to do something with my fourth of july photos from this year. The base of the layout is a piece of kraft card stock. The red pattern paper is from Echo Park's Sweet Day collection. The green pattern paper and the stickers near the little flags are from Echo Park's Hello Summer collection. The dark blue pattern paper is from Pebbles Sunnyside collection. The light blue pattern paper is from Authentique's Splendid collection.
I used a ton of Bazzill Basic's Swiss Dot cardstock. My Silhouette Cameo was used to cut part of the title, the green grass, and the little firecrackers/fireworks. The rest of the title is made up of Thickers and scrabble-like pieces from Echo Park's Charming collection. I made the little flags with some pin needles out of my sewing kit. The little swirly paper clip is just out of a little pack I picked up at the dollar store.
A challenge is not a challenge without a prize! Up for grabs from Color Me Scrappy are four 6x6 paper pads from My Minds Eye. They are...A Happy Heart, All Spice, Honey Cake, and Everyday Flair. Sketches In Thyme is offering a GUEST DESIGN TEAM SPOT for the winner they select!

This challenge is open until August 15th, 2012, so what are you waiting for? Head on over to Color Me Scrappy and Sketches in Thyme to play along and see what all the other Design Team members came up with!
